Vivian Wambui’s story captivated the hearts of many. Thanks to YAWI who took the initiative of intervening in the case and JIMMIA rescued Wambui. It was a dream come true for her mother who was persistently praying for the recovery of her daughter. She underwent a psychological assessment and we are grateful to PDO for facilitating her medication. We are grateful to all the well wishers coming through to see a success story of her recovery. Ending Violence Against Women and Girls is possible and it starts with me and you. let us plant a seed of love into the hearts of vulnerable women and empower their livelihoods.
