On Monday evening we received a new client  Mercy 21 years old, she has a 1year 6months old son and also 7months pregnant.

She is the first in a family of 4 but in the year 2015 there father died and life was so hard for them her mother could not afford to put food on the table nor to pay the house rent. So Mercy was forced to go seek for employment as a house help in Nairobi but still  there life was so hard and she decided  to go back home in Nyeri and get married to any man who could take her in. As long as she could get something to eat and somewhere to sleep  she was okay to get married. Life was okay until she got pregnant with the second child the husband became so abusive and she was forced to go back home to her mother . And due  to a lot of poverty they don’t have anywhere to sleep nor eat the office of chief spotted the case and wrote to as as Jimmia requesting for the shelter of Mercy and her child Levin.
