We have a new client, Melanie is a 16 years old girl from a place called Industry area Nakuru.

She is the first born and the only child to her parents. In the year 2010 her parents separated and she was left with her mother who later became so abusive to an extend Melanie had to escape to go and live with her father who had remarried again. The father took her back to school, while there she befriended a boy whom impregnated her and due to fear of the parents she decided to go and get married to the boyfriend. After some few months  he became so violent beating her up and again she was forced to go and live with her grandmother who later reported the  case to the Central Police Station, where the chief magistrate ordered for her to be brought to Jimmia Women Rescue Centre. She is 7 months pregnant, and a form 2 drop out.
