Margaret is a 16 years old girl in Standard 7.  She was sheltered at Jimmia following a referral from Springs of Hope Kenya.

During her stay at Jimmia she was assimilated in the Adolescent Girls Empowerment Program where she explored several talents including making mats, bead work and dancing. She has gained life skills and coping strategies to enable her overcome life’s challenges.

Update: Margaret is back with us for the holidays. The Covid-19 pandemic, as with most students, has affected her studying, nevertheless, she is outstanding as ever, doing her holiday assignments and advancing her skills.
