This year we marked the 16 Days of activism at the center by inviting adolescent girls and young mothers. This year’s theme is: “UNiTE!Activism to end violence against Women and Girls”.
Together with partners from Soroptimist International Club of Nakuru, we were able to have an interactive session that touched on Gender-based violence, women’s rights, public participation in decision-making, and developing skills that empower economically. The turnout from the community that we support, the survivors that are at the shelter, and those that were once with us and have been able to get back on their feet after reintegration was immense.
Thank you for your continued support throughout. May God bless you and keep planting a seed of love with us!
